I was one of the facilitator for the signing of an MOU in 2002 between the Department of Electronics & Information Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Dept of EiE, HUST) and our School of Computer Engineering.
I have existing collaboration with research staff and research managers from Microsoft Research Asia (Beijing). I was awarded the A*Star Overseas Attachment Programme and spend one month (Feb 2004) in MSRA. MSRA also sponsored the attachment of a PhD student to work in Beijing for two months.
